about

The Bad Ends are a band of veteran musicians from Athens, GA featuring Bill Berry (R.E.M), Mike Mantione (Five Eight) Christian Lopez (Curley Maple) Geoff Melkonian (Josh Joplin Group) and local guitar-shop-owner, Dave Domizi. Their New West Records debut, The Power And The Glory, was recorded at the legendary local studio, Espresso Machine, and features guitar driven songs like "Mile Marker 29," "Thanksgiving 1915," and "Honestly." An immediate classic referencing the best of early 90s college rock. Athens, GA to the max.

about

The Bad Ends Athens, Georgia

The Bad Ends know what not to do when starting a band
Mike Mantione's solo project took a wrong turn when he met Bill Berry in an Athens bar
The 2 teamed up with 3 of Mike's closest friends
And spent 3 years in 2 basements to record 1 12 song album about suicide then told no one
Hopefully sounds like Jason Isbell mugged by Wilco in the back of a bar haunted by Elliot Smith as Billy Bragg laughs
